Gibson Acoustic Guitar is pleased to announce that a New Musician has been selected for 2008 and will play in concert during HATCHfest October 2nd along with Special Gibson Guest Artists. The New Award Winner Artists for 2008 are The Clintons from Montana, USA.

If you have Montana roots, you may have heard of this energetic, driven, four-piece, inspired by the soft, sensitive songwriting style of John Mayer; the solid, funky, quirkiness of the Red Hot Chili Peppers; and a vibe that fans say reminds them of OAR or the Barenaked Ladies. The Gibson Acoustic Guitar New Musician was selected from a field of entries spanning the globe. The entrants were first reviewed by a local panel of judges and the top entries were sent to an advisory panel of judges known for their achievements in the music and film industries.

Advisory panel judges are Singer/Songwriter/HATCHfest Mentor Jackson Browne, Film Producer/HATCHfest Mentor Richard B. Lewis (August Rush), and legendary Music Manager David Spero (The Eagles, J.D. Souther) .

This prestigious awards package comes with mentorship from music industry insiders, a Custom Gibson Acoustic Guitar, the title of “Gibson Acoustic Guitar New Musician 2008″, free recording studio time, exposure to news, radio and television coverage and public relations opportunities and other prizes geared toward enhancing and building a lasting and productive music career.

The Awards Concert is free, however due to a limited number of seats a ticket will be required for admittance. Pick up tickets at Music Villa in Bozeman after September 24th. More ticket outlets will be announced on the MOOSE 95.1 FM and also online at www.HATCHfest.org.

This free concert is sponsored by Gibson Acoustic Guitars, KMMS 95.1 FM “The MOOSE” and HATCHfest who all share the ultimate vision “the inspiration of one affects the lives of millions.”
