The numbers behind I’ve Got The Clap
I’ve Got The Clap by The Giggles has gotten over 230,000 views on YouTube in only three months! Definitely our biggest “hit” yet:) GigglesNation.com got a 1000 view boost on August 23rd when The Clap, Mother Swallows at Night, and Donkey Punch were all played on the the Dave Ryan Show on 101.3 KDWB in the Twin Cities. Thanks to our bro Ryan Andrist for making that happen.
The official ringtone has been downloaded about 11,000 times but the unofficial pirated version is estimated at around 250,000 forwards (thanks to Jake Reisig for getting the initial fire storm rolling!).
Stuff like this doesn’t just happen. It takes fans and friends like Jake and Ryan to tell their friends or see an opportunity to send our music to radio stations.
Below I’ve added some screen shots of the daily viewing numbers and the discovery graph. It’s fun to watch the stats but even more fun to read the video comments as they roll in.
