Besides John’s knack for writing feel good ballads, you’ll find the anthem for students everywhere, “College Daze”, where McLellan revisits the blurry days and drunken nights of being in college. Strange Day In Mexico ends with quite possibly the hookiest blue grass tune ever written. Although “Abercrombie Jeans” is quite a left field addition to the record, it’s humor and energy couldn’t describe the nature of The Clintons any better.
